Howard is a Senior and Lead Lighting Artist, with 20+ years’ experience in full CG features and complex VFX films and television.
From intimate character lighting to complex sequence supervision, my passion is for creative and challenging lighting work.
Most recently, I have been freelancing for ILM and BlueBolt as a Senior Lighting TD, prior to this, I was Head of Department for Cinesite London and the DPR for the global Cinesite group. This role was to ensure there was a super solid yet constantly evolving, working Lighting Pipeline based on USD and Gaffer, which is developed in-house. Regularly hosting development meetings with the teams across the group. Throughout this time I have still worked with teams, actively led projects as well as regularly lighting production shots.
